Whitstable Kent

One of our favourite places to visit when we are in Kent is Whitstable Harbour. Today it was low tide soon after we arrived and so there was not a lot of craft movements in and out of the moorings.  It was also one of the last days of the heatwave, so again not very good for photography.

This fisherman and his son were repairing their nets on the quayside. Their boat is the one flying the Brexit flag.

I love VW Campervans, I photograph them every time I see one, this one is a T2. The owner deliberately keeps it in the now very popular “Rat Look”. The maintenance is perfect, everything works as it should, but the idea is for it to have this look of belonging in a breakers yard. Great stuff.
