Winter Walk Wimpole Estate

Monday 2nd Carol and I took a walk through the grounds of Wimpole Hall.

Wimpole’s Folly or to give it’s proper title, Wimpole’s Gothic Tower.

This Gothic Tower, designed to look like a picturesque medieval ruin, is based on a sketch by the architect Sanderson Miller in 1749 for his patron, Lord Hardwicke, the owner of Wimpole. Full story here.
