Clavering Gardens.
Bank Holiday Monday, 06th May we visited
three gardens.
Garden 1. Chestnut Cottage, Clavering. This is a terraced
garden giving lovely views over the area. It also has the smallest thatched
cottage in the county. I have two photos taken from inside with a fisheye lens,
giving an unusual result.

A short walk through the church yard brings you to, Garden 2 Piercewebbs
Piercewebbs:

A short drive brings you to Garden 3 Wickets Langley Upper Green

Peaceful country garden ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’.
Wide, informal mixed borders include, shrub roses and perennials. Two
landscaped meadows and shepherd’s hut with fine pastoral views. Large lily pond
sheltered by silver birch. Griffin Glasshouse nearby. Curvilinear design links
themed planting areas. Espalier apples enclose parterre with standard weeping
roses. Secluded Dry Garden."
