Harvest time

It’s that time of year when there are a lot of farmers bringing in their crops. However, the weather this last few weeks has not been at it's best. So, I was pleased to find these contract farmers bringing in the crop from these Essex fields. I managed to have a chat with one of them & he tells me they are from Wales, they were proudly flying their Welsh Flag.

Essex Poppy Field

When I am driving through the country, I am always keeping an eye out for a good landscape shot. Living in the flat lands of East Anglia I am always looking for an artistic tree or different crop. Today my luck was in, whilst passing through Wethersfield in Essex, three very large fields of poppies grabbed my eye.

Marks Hall Arboretum

Eagle Heights

This is a very friendly well run raptor centre & wildlife park. I found that having spoken to them before the first flying show they were more than happy to let me stand in a good position to get my shots, I was expected to follow a few simple safety rules.

The location is on the top of a hill and some of the views are spectacular so I have included a few landscapes of the area.
