First day out after full lockdown.

Today was our first day out from lockdown apart from a few walks round the wood behind my house. We took a drive through the countryside to Thaxted & onto Finchingfield. I was able to take a few shots along the way, just postcard images but I just enjoyed the freedom with my camera.

Wimpole Hall

The weather today, was excellent, so Carol and I took a walk around one of our local National Trust’s properties. Now we should have looked before we set off, for today Wimpole was having it’s Christmas fair.  So, getting in was very busy and the Trust was having to use one of their farm fields to park the visitors and because of the recent rain it very quickly turned to a quagmire. Anyway, once we were parked, we had a super walk on this sunny, clear Sunday.

Greenwich on a Wet Day.

Wednesday was forecast to be very wet all day, I was staying a few miles away from Greenwich so, I put on my foul weather gear, covered my camera with a plastic mac & went looking for pictures in the rain. Now this is my first time of working in such an iconic place in these conditions. It has everything architecture, lots of shiny buildings, misty views & people with umbrellas.
