Thriplow Daffodil Weekend

We took a trip to this very popular annual fair. It was really busy, both car parks were overflowing, I would not be surprised if there was two or three thousand people there. This made taking photos difficult but here are a few shots from some of the reenactors & Morris men.  I understand that last year's event was overshadowed by the beast from the east, what a different day today.

Blists Hill in Colour

This is just a few shots in colour that I felt worked better than the monochrome of my previous posts.

We enjoyed our couple of days spent at the village and the good news is that we now have tickets that will allow us entrance to all ten museums for the next year, so we shall return next spring when the days are longer and the light is better. By the time we next visit the Iron Bridge should be finished and unwrapped ready for another two hundred thirty years of use.

I have three other posts from this visit, they can be seen Blists Hill People 1
and Blists Hill Buildings and Blists Hill People 2
