Southend & Leigh

The weather forecast was fair & bright the tide times were good with low tide around midday so it had to be Southend. The tide here goes out a long way and the mud is very firm it is good for following the tide out looking for the reflections in the pools of water these conditions along with broken cloud cover is very good to shoot these kind of pictures.

Southend & Leigh on Sea

Yesterday I took a trip to Southend on Sea to try out a new Lee Big Stopper filter I recently purchased. As the weather forecast suggested that we should have a reasonable sunset this would be a good opportunity to have a play and try out this new filter. 

The following shots are using the Big Stopper filter.

Finally on my way out in the morning I came upon this guy which struck me as a little unusual. I guess the reception in the area must be very poor :)

Southend

Last post of the year. We went to the Barge Inn at Battlesbridge for lunch & afterwards we had a walk along the Southend seafront. I took just a few shots to say goodbye to 2015.
