Duxford Reopens

The first of August Duxford reopened. As a member all I had to do was pre-book my ticket and then when I arrived, a quick barcode scan and I was in. I only wanted to stay outside and watch the flying.

Unfortunately, the Hurricane did not fly, the magnetos were giving trouble, so back to the hanger.

Duxford Low Key.

Just before lockdown for Covid-19 I made my last visit to Duxford. I am a member and normally I would be a frequent visitor, I can’t wait to get back with my camera.

I have been playing with lowkey shots, here are just a few examples.

Duxford Low-Key

I had another go at my low-key shots in the Duxford hanger. This is the result, it seems to be going down well with the aviation FB groups.

Duxford Flying

A few more shots from my last visit to Duxford on 7/02/2020

Whilst I was on my last visit to Duxford two Apache helicopters dropped in to refuel and do a couple of circuits. "The Agusta Westland Apache is a licence-built version of the Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow attack helicopter. Designed & supplied as kits by Boeing then assembled by Westland Helicopters for the British Army Air Corps"

Duxford on a misty day

I had a couple of hours and it is a few weeks since I was out with my camera so, the weather was bright but with a light mist. I took the opportunity  to make a short visit to Duxford and just enjoyed the day. The following few shots are the results of that visit.
