This is our first complete
day at Porthtowan Beach, Visit Cornwall say “Located within a designated Area
of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this Blue Flag award winning beach is one of
Cornwall’s most popular surfing beaches bordered by soft golden sand and backed
by large dunes and dramatic cliffs.” I
have to say the area including the beach is very clean and tidy. I did not see
any amount of plastic or discarded rubbish.
Today, the weather is bright
sunshine and very hot I took a short walk around the area to see what I
could find, these are a few shots taken mid-morning.
Day 2
The holiday cottage.
This flower is everywhere
both in cultivated gardens and growing wild on the side of the hills.
