One of the things about polo is that it is truly a sport where men and women compete on an equal footing, the teams are mixed & a nine stone woman can easily take on a twelve stone man and beat him by using her skills as a horsewoman. It is a sport that requires the bravery and stamina of rugby and the intelligence and strategy of chess.
