We visited on their NGS Open Gardens day, Sunday the 6th May 2019. We had a very enjoyable visit once we arrived. There is a lot of road works on the route when using a GPS so it would be wise to have a read of their website before you start out. Here

mature woodland are huge island beds, Japanese garden, terrace, gravel garden,
seaside garden, water gardens and extensive woodland plantings.”
