This last weekend was Duxford’s air show, a tribute to the
Battle of Britain. I managed to spend Friday watching the preparation, see my previous
post. I visited again today to see if there were many aircraft departing. Here
are a few shots from my visit.
History of SPITFIRE/SM845. I have found a sales advert for this aircraft offering it for £1,700,000 (No date given). Fulfil my boyhood dream if my numbers come up on the lottery.
