This is the second lot of images I took on my Canon 5D-3 on my recent visit to Anglesey Abbey.

Today I visited the annual Dalia display at Anglesey Abbey, I took both my Canon 5D-3 and my Canon G9, all of these shots were taken on the G9. I will post the 5D shots later.

Flitch Way, Rayne Station

The Flitch Way is about fifteen miles long, it runs from Braintree station to Start Hill near Bishops Stortford. Back in the day it was connected to the main line at Stortford and ran to London. The Operators, Great Eastern Railways opened the line in 1869   The last passengers were on the 1st of March 1952 it continued running freight until the end of 1971.  

It is now used as a safe traffic free environment for walkers, cyclists and horse riders and forms part of National Cycle Network Route 16.

A Walk Through Hatfield Forest

The early autumnal weather this year has been beautiful and today was no exception. Recently I have been exploring all the back paths and out of the way places in Hatfield Forest, my local wood. Today I took out my Canon G9 camera. I carry this camera with me for emergencies when I do not have my pro cameras with me. The results on this little camera are more than satisfactory, it has a raw selection but apart from that it is really a basic budget camera. These are the results.

If this was an aircraft it would be marked, unserviceable and unfit to fly :)
