As a member of Duxford I try to make a visit every
couple of months to see what’s new along with seeing if there are any
interesting aircraft flying.
Parked out on the apron was a De Havilland DH104 Devon
C.1 ‘VP981’ (G-DHDV) in near perfect condition.
I have been following the rebuild of the Duxford, Handley
Page, Victor. This is what she is looking like on March 25th, 2019.
The V1 from WW2 on it's launcher can be seen just
opposite the American museum at Duxford IWM. I have included the description
given by IWM as it does add interest.
Not noticed
by most visitors to the museum are two tributes to the Czech pilots that
lost their lives in WW2.
