Today we visited this wonderful eight-acre garden. The
hall dates from 1543-1559 and is now owned by Cambridge University, it is run
as both a hotel and a place of education. Having met the head gardener, I was
made very welcome and given permission to roam the estate taking photos. The
gardens are open this weekend as part of the open gardens scheme, see here.
