Discovering Marks Hall

Today, I was expecting a very foggy day, the forecast said that we were to have thick fog all day with the possibility of thinning out about mid-morning. As it happened I awoke to a very bright day with no fog. So, my plans had to be changed, I decided to explore the parts of this great estate that are not immediately obvious. Marks Hall has over 200 acres so, there is plenty to explore.  Instead of following the well laid out paths I turned left just after the entrance and just followed my nose being careful not to damage the environment. I intend to seek out other parts of the estate in my subsequent visits. This is my first year as a member and I am certainly getting value from my membership. Members are able to enter at anytime. Below are the results from today’s visit.
