Whilst staying at my Daughter's back in February Carol and I visited
Chartwell, this was the family home of Winston & Clementine
Churchill. Overlooking the magnificent views of the Weald of Kent the gardens and the parkland are superb.
The
house and Winston's studio were shut when we visited this time as the National
Trust were on their winter time table but Carol and I have been here on several
occasions.
