The
aircraft has just been moved into hanger five to start the refurbishment. Earlier
this month I photographed the Victor out on the airfield waiting to be moved
into the hanger. See my post of the 1st November
The Victor was
one of the original cold war bombers subsequently it was converted into an airborne
tanker. Duxford is now undertaking a complete overhaul of this aircraft as its condition
has deteriorated and needs to be restored to its former glory.
