The Gibberd Garden

Just outside Old Harlow there is a Garden created by Sir Frederick Gibberd, the architect and planer of the Harlow New Town sometime in the late 40s. He created a beautiful garden about 4 miles from Harlow town centre as an oasis away from his work, today it is kept up by a team of dedicated volunteers & is open to the public 3 days a week. This time I concentrated on the many statues in the grounds but I shall revisit and try and capture the rest of the garden through the seasons.
