National Gardens Scheme Colchester

Today, we visited three gardens near Colchester, all participating in the National Gardens Scheme. Mayfield Farm, Hungerdowns & Ardleigh Gardens. We enjoyed the abundance of the spring flowers in each garden. Summer is on the way.

Birds at Marks Hall

Today, I went to one of my favourite places for a walk. They have a couple of lakes and they are populated with a variety of ducks & geese. I have been wanting to build my skills for wild life bird photography, so these are my efforts. The birds here are almost tame, they are very used to people. I will now try my luck on something a bit more challenging.
