Blists Hill Victorian People

We had a few days away last week and visited Blists Hill Victorian Museum. This is a great place for the family, taking you back to a bygone age of steam and heavy industry. Located a few miles away from the Iron Bridge, famous for being the first bridge in the world made from cast iron. Unfortunately, the bridge is undergoing major repairs at the time of our visit, so no photos.

This is the first of my posts from the museum and I have concentrated on the people of the village. I have tried to give them a Victorian feel.

I have three other posts on this visit, they can be seen Blists Hill Buildings & Blists Hill People 2 and Blists Hill in Colour

Anglesey Abbey Autumn Colours

Last Sunday was a very bright day, just right for a walk through the grounds of the Abbey to see the last of the autumn colours.

These last three shots were taken from the roadside on my way home.
