Sissinghurst

Sissinghurst Castle Gardens one of the National Trusts premier properties, known for it’s gardens located in Kent with some spectacular views of the local area. My visit was made on one of the brightest days of the year, with very little cloud to be seen. I would prefer to have taken my shots on a day with less contrast but that’s photography.

Chartwell

We visited Chartwell the home of Sir Winston Churchill. The day we visited was not an ideal day for doing landscape photography, the light was very poor and the National Trust are doing a lot of work on the house at the moment so there was scaffolding over one side of the property,  so I have just put in a couple of shots. When I next go to Chartwell I will try and pick a better day.

The flowers in the gardens were coming to the end of the season and so they were not at their best.

Eagle Heights

This is a very friendly well run raptor centre & wildlife park. I found that having spoken to them before the first flying show they were more than happy to let me stand in a good position to get my shots, I was expected to follow a few simple safety rules.

The location is on the top of a hill and some of the views are spectacular so I have included a few landscapes of the area.
