Duxford

On Friday I spent the day at the Imperial War Museum Duxford, this is part one of my day’s shoot. In the late afternoon the sun decided to put in an appearance after a very overcast day. I decided to take a few shots of the tails of the aircraft out on the apron. There is a lot of clutter around these aircraft making it difficult to get any really good shots but shooting into the light has given a few interesting shapes & overcome the problem.

For those that are aircraft enthusiast it may be fun to figure out the aircraft.

Anglesey Abbey

The parkland at the abbey is particularly beautiful at this time of the year with the many different autumn colours. As the light was very strong and giving lots of harsh shadows I decided in an effort to do something a little different to shoot into the light. The following are a few of my images taken on Sunday afternoon.

Theydon Bois Golf Club

I wanted to get a few shots of the autumn colours before the November storms change the landscape. I decided to use golf as a subject to give the session a focal point to work with. Trees make a really good background but for me I need a focal point to put in front. The Golf Course is ideally located in the midst of Epping Forest. The course has an undulating & interesting landscape.

The club was very welcoming, after making sure that I knew and understood the safety rules I was allowed to walk the course with my camera.
