Sunday's show.
This show has something for all the family, with one of the largest shows I have ever attended, it’s a good day out.

Lots of entertainment to be seen in the marquees around the site, singers range from the wonderful voice of Annie Andrews, doing all of the WW2 favourites to the Polka Dot Dolls, an excellent act in the style of the Andrews Sisters.   

More from the ground warfare battle area. I made sure that I had my ear defenders with me today, the thunder flashes and the smoke grenades make the re-enactment so realistic.

Damyns Hall Event

Saturdays events:
This is one of the country’s best military re-enactment events of the year. Held on the old Damyns Hall airfield it has a huge amount of open space to get all of the different events staged.

The ground warfare battle area is spectacular with lots of wiz bangs to excite the kids and the adults, re-enacting actual events from WW2 & Vietnam, so realistic it’s as though you are on the battle field.

The air display was spectacular with appearances of some of the best known aircraft on the display circuit, including the Spitfire, Hurricane & the Sally B

Kite Festival Dunstable Downs

 The weather was just about perfect for the kite festival held on the top of the downs this weekend. With a gin clear view the display of kites both large & small was spectacular. Here are a few of the kits being displayed.
