More Birds at Hatfield Forest.

A few shots from Hatfield Forest Lake, taken today. It was a cold grey day.

Nature photography is not my natural subject, but this last year’s problems has made me look for new subjects. I have to say that I am really enjoying learning a new skill. I am not too good at naming the different species but that will come.

Marks Hall Arboretum

Today was my first visit to Marks Hall Arboretum since the start of the pandemic. It was good to be back, they have been doing a lot of work on making it safe for visitors to return.  A few shots taken at the lake, not too many birds there today.

Hatfield Forest Lake

I spent some time at the lake on my walk at Hatfield forest today. I was using my Fujinon 100-400 lens. There where plenty of birds on the water like:  Tufted Duck both Male & Female, Canada Goose, Coot, Mallard Duck, Gadwall, Mute Swan, Jackdaw & a Great Crested Grebe.

Garden Visitors

Hopefully, we seem to be approaching the end of lockdown. So, I am looking forward to getting out once again with my camera and tracking down new subjects, visiting new areas & maybe taking a holiday. I have started to look through the many shots I have taken over this last year. So, this is two more visitors to my garden.

New Beginnings

Taken on a recent day trip.  Daffodils in a local church. Every year this church has a splendid display.
