This year the autumn colours at the Abbey are very poor. Previously I have had good results up to mid and late November. This year most of the big trees have already lost their leaves whilst the smaller trees have yet to change colour.

On my regular visits to the forest I have noticed a number of dead and fallen trees. The textures and shapes interest me so today I took a few shots.
