Waresley Wood's Bluebells

After my pursuit of the Pasque Flowers on Royston Heath (see my previous post) Carol and I decided to visit Waresley woods. This was my first visit to this woodland, I have seen another photographer I follow, Ann Miles is a regular visitor to this location so I thought I would pay a visit. By the time I arrived the cloud had overdeveloped, flattening the light, but the display of bluebells was superb so, I shall return and explore this woodland further.

Pasque Flowers & Cowslips

Today I went looking for the Pasque Flowers on Royston Heath. I had been told about this little mauve flower a week or so ago by a local I had met whilst walking on the heath. Unfortunately, the flowers are well past their best so, I will return next year.

Walk Through Birchanger Woods

Carol and I took a short walk this afternoon around our local wood. The light was very good towards the end of the afternoon.

Bluebells

I went out for a walk with my wife yesterday morning. We have a small woodland near where we live, it has bluebells, but not a lot of them so unusually I did not take my camera with me, this was a mistake. The light in the morning coming through the trees was superb, anyway I decided to go back later in the day, of course the light had long gone. I will not make that mistake again, however by waiting I managed a few shots.
