Marks Hall Autumn Colours 2017

We took another look at the autumn colours unfortunately the light decayed very quickly today. Marks Hall has become one of my favourite places for a walk.

This monument is a tribute to the airmen and women based at the nearby WW2 airfield, Earls Cone. As today was remembrance Sunday I have taken a few shots of the plaques & tributes.

Maldon Essex

A short walk and lunch at Maldon. I was continuing my testing and familiarisation with my new 100-400 Fuji lens. As high tide today was at 11:45 this was a good time and place to put the lens through its paces.
