Audley End

I had sometime on Tuesday afternoon so I visited my local English Heritage house and gardens. As we are at the end of the season the staff are busy putting the gardens to bed ready for the winter. The autumn colours are still not fully developed, maybe it's not going to be a good year for the rich colours we had last year but I can live in hopes.

Wimpole Hall

Still in pursuit of autumn colours we visited the gardens and grounds of this popular National Trust property. In the gardens the dahlias are still very beautiful but coming to the end of their time.
