Having seen a number of posts from other photographers taken at the forest & having never visited before I decided to pay my first visit today.

Hatfield Forest Autumn Colours

The light today was very bright and clear so I took a quick run out to my local woods to try and get a few shots of the autumn colours.

Duxford Handley Page Victor

 On Monday I popped into Duxford & there parked on the apron was XH648 Handley Page Victor looking a little sad without it’s tail & wings. As she is a very important part of our aviation history she is undergoing a programme of restoration. The full story can be seen here

Autumn Colours at Anglesey Abbey

I set off in bright but misty weather conditions to take a few shots of the autumn colours at the abbey but about five miles away from arriving the mist became fog. So these are a few shots of the somewhat muted colours. I will have to try again in a few days’ time.
