Paxton Pits Nature Reserve
Today I took my new 2.8 300mm lens to Paxton Pits to give it a tryout. The weather was very good but unfortunately there were not many birds on the lakes so I had to content myself with a few swans and a heron but it was enough of a test for me to be very satisfied with the results.

Anglesey Abbey
A few shots taken today at the National Trust’s, Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire. The weather was windy, full of heavy showers but in between the light and the sky was fantastic.

Nene Valley Railway 40s Weekend
Gary and I paid a visit today to the Nene Valley steam forties weekend, the weather was very bright with very high contrast.
