I paid a visit to Colchester Zoo yesterday, Thursday 21st with a friend of mine from my camera club. Having had a lay-off for a few weeks it was good to get out and take a few shots even though zoos are not my most favourite places. The weather started off reasonably well even though it was very cold but it soon developed into a reasonably grey day. When we arrived we found that most of the animals were having a lay in and even if you could see them they were very lethargic and not very interested in posing for our cameras. However after a while they started to get a little interested in food with some exercise.
